WHEN YOU'RE HUNGRY + ANGRY

A late night conversation between friends turned into the project that changed everything.

THE CHALLENGE

This project was completed while studying UX design at General Assembly in 2014.

Hangry tries to solve the problem of what to do when you're hungry and angry... Hangry?

SKETCHING, TESTING AND PROTOTYPING

Throughout the project I conducted guerrilla testing with paper prototypes and user surveys.

Guerrilla testing

Conducted user testing with paper prototypes and the 'POP' app on the iPhone.

POP prototype

The POP app revealed some major usability issues that I rectified for further testing.

RESULTS

DESIGN STUDIO METHOD

Conducted Design Studio Method testing with six participants. The question asked: What do you do when you're tired/angry and hungry - Hangry?

ROUND 1

Each participant presented their solutions to the group. They ranked their favourite ideas with red sticker dots.

ROUND 2

Further refinements were made then presented back to the group. The three standout ideas were chosen.

WORKSHOP - SITE MAP

Workshops were run with a diverse group of designers in the industry. I decided to map out the customer experience end to end.

WIREFRAMES

After getting feedback on the site map I created low fidelity wireframes and built a prototype for user testing.
